Singing legend Michael Jackson may be in line for a birthday celebration, it has been revealed.
The Hollywood star is set to turn 50 later this month and a publicist-turned-biographer close to the entertainer referred to simply as Phoenix has said that his family wants to organise a reunion to mark the event, Showbiz Spy reports.
He said: "They're not big on birthdays but this would be a big family thing. It's a historical moment for the family. They can't believe that the little brother is turning 50 this year."
According to the insider, Jackson will also use the occasion to send out messages of thanks to his fans, including an address to which they can post gifts and presents they may have for him.
Also celebrating a landmark birthday, former music teacher Mary Ulmer was recently joined by friends and family members at a restaurant in honour of reaching 100, the Orangeburg Times Democrat reported.
