American actress and singer Jamie Lynn Spears, younger sister to Britney, has sent mother-to-be Bristol Palin a gift, according to reports.
An article featured in CelebTV.com suggests that Spears decided to send 17-year-old Bristol - who is the daughter of vice presidential candidate selection Sarah Palin - an offering of baby clothes.
A source close to Beverly Hills shop Petit Tresor said that a present was sent by Jamie Lynn's mum Lynne Spears.
The insider stated: "It was ordered by phone and they asked what could be done for under $100 [£56]. They spent $60 on pink burp cloths."
Accompanying the package, there is said to have been a note reading: "Dear Bristol, Hang in there! XXOO, Jamie Lynn Spears."
Meanwhile, US TV star Miley Cyrus recently asked her dad for a stylish set of wheels as a birthday present for her 16th birthday, which is due to take place in November.
