As a special treat for her mother, Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin recently got a crowd gathered for one of her rallies to sing Happy Birthday to her mother.
She also got country singer Gretchen Wilson to join in.
Wilson began playing Redneck Woman, which has become one of Palin's signature tunes.
In an address to the crowd, Palin said: "We're all one big American family here. Today is my mum's birthday. And I want to surprise her by singing her Happy Birthday from all of you in North Carolina. And Gretchen is going to join us."
She then took her mobile phone out and - along with around 7,500 supporters - belted out a rendition of the song.
Meanwhile, English rocker Rod Stewart is set to perform as part of Prince Charles' upcoming birthday celebrations, it was recently revealed.
The entertainer, who is an ambassador for Charles' charity the Prince's Trust, is to sing at a party at the Highgrove estate in Gloucestershire on November 14th.
